Common Ground – Exhibition Catalog

The Mobile Museum of Art partnered with Persimmon Creative to create a printed version of the exhibition “Common Ground,” which celebrated the people and cultures of sister cities Mobile, Alabama and Havana, Cuba. Renowned photographers and long-time friends Chip Cooper (Alabama, USA) and Julio Larramendi (Havana, Cuba) travelled together, capturing images that connect the common cultures and currents woven through both cities. The exhibition was sponsored by a generous grant from the Crampton Trust, with additional support from the City of Mobile, Alabama State Council of the Arts and the National Endowment for the Arts.
